half hours (my secret to success)

September 24, 2010

This is my secret to success.

I break my “to do” list down by half hours.

Call me childish, but it works. I may be motivated by simple things, but that’s a whole lot better than being complex.

I make sure to add some wiggle room (note the full hour for lunch). I don’t want to set myself up to fail.

I alternate tasks so that I don’t get burned out on doing just one thing.

I also schedule in little rewards – snack time, play dough time, nap time… Is this starting to sound like kindergarten??? Just kidding.

But I do have snack time. I wasn’t kidding about that.

This method works for me. It’s my secret to success. I have figured out what makes me tick.

After 26 years, it’s about time.
