across the miles, through the years

August 15, 2011

Some friendships are timeless.

They don’t fade. They don’t age.

When you’re together again – even if it’s been months or years – you just pick back up where you left off.

And friendships like that are sweet. In the best kind of way.

The kind of way that makes a little boy ask, “Mommy, are you having a long talk?” when the two of us were talking away over lunch, lost in catching up.

Haha. Yes, a very long talk. We make the moments count 😉

Earl’s BBQ, the Candy Co., running through the fountains, a walk along the canal, ice water w/lemon at Sonic…

What a fun day! Of catching up. Of laughing. Of friendship.

The kind that stretches across the miles and lasts through the years.

Asher, your children are so lovely (just like you).

Thank you for such a fun time.

Thank you for your friendship.
